Routine Eye Exams and More Are Covered by KelseyCare Advantage Plans
All KelseyCare Advantage plans include a vision benefit, through Vision Services Providers (VSP), that provides coverage for routine eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries, and some allowance for glasses and contacts.
In-Network Vision Coverage
Coverage depends on your specific plan, but all plans include one routine, in-network eye exam per year at no cost. Routine vision services can be provided by either a Kelsey-Seybold Clinic optometrist or a provider in the VSP network. You will also be given a discount on eyewear at time of purchase if you buy your eyewear from an in-network VSP optician. Any other provider would be considered out of network.
Make an Eye Exam Appointment
You can call our 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-0000 to make an appointment with a Kelsey-Seybold Optometrist at one of our clinic locations.
If you receive vision services from an out-of-network provider or purchase eyewear from a non-VSP provider, you will have to pay out of pocket, but you may qualify to be reimbursed for some of the cost. This will depend on which KelseyCare Advantage plan you have.
If you are eligible for reimbursement, you can request it by completing a VSP Reimbursement Form and mailing it to:
