OTC Benefits

WHO has OTC benefits?

  • All KelseyCare Advantage members/All plans have OTC benefits.

HOW MUCH is the OTC allowance?

  • It varies by plan. Refer to your Evidence of Coverage (EOC) for details.

WHEN do I get it?

  • Your OTC allowance is added to your card quarterly and must be used by the end of each quarter.

WHAT can I use it for?

  • Your OTC allowance can be used for approved OTC items at participating retail locations. Approved OTC items are listed in our OTC catalog. View the catalog HERE.

WHERE can I shop for approved OTC items?

  • Through mail-in order form. Find the order form and mail-in address in our OTC Catalog found on our website HERE or on
  • Through the OTC-Anywhere mobile app. Find info about the app in our OTC Catalog HERE.
  • In person at participating retail stores: Kelsey Pharmacies, CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Kroger, Walgreens, and Walmart.

Flex Card Benefits

WHO has Flex benefits?

  • Members of our Classic, Freedom, Signature, Secure, and Thrive plans have Flex benefits.

HOW MUCH is the Flex allowance?

WHEN do I get it?

Your Flex allowance is added to your card every year.

WHAT can I use my Flex allowance for, and WHERE can I use it?

  • The allowance on your OTC/Flex Card can only be used for out-of-pocket costs associated with dental care, vision care, or hearing services, including preventive services, when provided by a licensed provider.
